This SHELIX head features 8 wings of knives with a total of 96 knives. Additional replacement knives can be ordered along.

IMPORTANT: This machine is on the market with 15+ different cutter heads as the manufacturer kept making changes during the time of production. In order to supply the correct SHELIX head, we need to know what version you need. We can send you the available drawings of these heads to compare (please inquire) or you can call Northfield at 507-645-5641. Tell them that you would like to upgrade your machine with a SHELIX head and give them the serial number of your machine. In response, they will give you the corresponding drawing number of the cutter head in your machine which we will need to supply you with the correct SHELIX head.
With the variety of different heads for this machine and a fairly low order volume for each individual head, please note that these SHELIX heads are not being kept in stock but will be produced upon order. The production time is on average about 12 weeks.
