A cutter head for corrugated knives makes it easy to always get the right shaper cutter for whatever profile you need. You can choose molding knives from our extensive catalogue of corrugated molding knives and if you do not find what you are looking for, simply e-mail us a drawing or sketch of the profile you need and we will get you custom knives. "Custom" always sounds scary because it usually means "Expensive" and delays but this is not the case here. All of our molding knives (catalogue or custom) are being made upon order within 2 business days and a 3 inch wide custom knife will cost you exactly as much as a 3 inch wide catalogue knife!

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:
While it is technically possible to use knives that are wider than the cutter head, it is recommended not to do so for your own safety.
If you wish to use knives that are shorter than the head itself, the knives should be at least wide enough to cover all available bolts on the head that tighten them. Therefore, it is typically safe to use knives that are about ½” shorter than the head itself. If you want to use knives shorter than that, you will need appropriate shorter wedges that you can order along with this cutter head (only Byrd Tool brand models that are wider than 1 inch). When using these shorter wedges along with shorter knives, you must remove the bolts from the head that you currently do not use.
