If you are for any reason not satisfied with your purchase, you may return most item(s) within 30 days after the purchase date. First, you must notify us of the product(s) you are returning and you can do so by phone at 1-855-699-6635 or (250) 589-5879 or e-mail us. Please have your order number ready. We will provide you with a return authorization number. Please make sure that the authorization number is visible on the shipping box so that we can accept your return.
We will reimburse you or you can exchange it for another item. If the item returned is deemed defective, we will also reimburse your shipping cost and send you your new items free of any shipping charges.
Important: For any product from Byrd Tool, the manufacturer charges a 20% restocking fee; so your refund will be reduced to 80% of the purchase price. This is also valid if you exchange the prouct for another item. This rule does not apply if the reason for returning is wrong order fulfillment or defective merchandise.
Excluded from this policy are moulding knives. Since we offer over 1,050 catalog knives and each is available for many different machines on the market that need different kinds of knives, it is impossible to stock all these knives. Therefore, every moulding knife order is considered a custom order. In fact, every single moulding knife is only being produced upon order based on the machine you have. If the knives you received are in unsatisfactory condition, we certainly offer replacement or your money back but require that you first return the knives for inspection to validate your complaint.
We cannot accept the return of moulding knives based on change of mind. If you have accidantly ordered knives for a different machine than what you really have, we will help you to minimize your loss and offer you the replacement knives at half cost. A return of the originally sent knives will not be necessary.
If you return non-defective items, please note that we may have to charge you the difference in between the original shipping costs to you and the amount that you initially paid for shipping.
