Byrd Insert Shaper Cutter Heads for Door Making
All stile and rail cutter heads as listed below come with a 3/4” bore and a 1-1/4” bore. If your shaper only has a 1” spindle, please select the 1-1/4” version of the head you need and order appropriate T-Bushings along. We offer majorly 6 standard profiles and for each also a version with eased edges for stain relief. We also offer custom knives for as long as the desired profile is somehwat similar as the ones offered here and fit the appropriate head. Custom knives take about two to three weeks. Please call or email us for assistance with custom knives.
Please note that the tongue and groove part of these heads is 1/2” deep and 1/4” thick. If you need a different thickness to accomodate metric plywoods, please contact us for assistance as we offer to customize the heads and knives for these thicknesses.
